And on top of this it has a built in rechargeable li-ion battery allowing you to operate the drive without any power connections. The smart power managment is designed to keep your device always in tip top condition, and when the drive isn't operating it can recharge back from your connection bus (Firewire, USB needs DC Adapter, included). A one time charge can support up to 10 hours non stop operation.
